AVIVO Packaging Makes a Difference

At AVIVO, we regularly scrutinize every aspect of our packaging to see where we can reduce or eliminate its environmental impact.

Starting with our 2023 vintage, we’ve introduced lighter glass bottles weighing 395 grams (most bottles weigh 25% to 100% more). This change significantly reduces our carbon footprint during transportation, as lighter weight means less freight. And they take less energy and material to make.

Also with our 2023 vintage we have eliminated the tin capsule on the neck, saving material and energy and making the bottles easier to recycle.

Our Nomacorc Ocean corks, sourced from Vinventions, are made from recycled ocean-bound plastic. They’re actually carbon-negative, because they reduce ocean pollution as well as petrochemical use — without compromising quality.
